THANKSGIVING BREAK THROUGH MY IPHONE

My love of picture taking is a constant struggle.

On one hand, I want to make sure to document everything we are doing, and on the other, I don't want to be constantly behind a camera, missing out.

So over break I really tried to leave my camera at home as much as I could.

So when I didn't have my camera by my side, here are all the pictures I was able to snag with my phone.

* warning- 95% of the pictures are of the beach. Cuz that is all we did.

Survived two 10 hour road trips with these crazies.

Took some great snaps during family game night.

Went on a long but beautiful hike up the beach

Connor channeled his inner sponger

And after going in the water JD spent the next hour shivering under a towel.

JD was quick to not let anyone forget it was her birthday week.

And she had her first meal as a 20 year old at The Cottage.

Scott is becoming quite the photographer.

'
We played lots of beach volleyball

And braved the ocean on multiple occasions.

As soon as Thanksgiving passed, Christmas decorations popped up.

And we ended the trip in the most delightful movie theater chairs you will ever find.

Cheers to a wonderful break!

THANKFUL

I guess I will miss being a student. I don't know the next time we will get a full week off for Thanksgiving. Ok we only get three days but we ditched school and made it a week.

It is also probably the last Thanksgiving I will get to have with my family for a while since we will be moving to the east coast after graduation.

I sure will miss La Jolla being a car ride away.

Thanksgiving morning started with the boys going surfing, my sister and my parents cooking, and Tycee and I going on a walk. You know. Trying to burn off a few of the calories we would be consuming that evening.

We walked up to the cross on Mount Soledad, one of my favorite places because you can see all of San Diego.

I love to see the temple :)

After looking at the ocean, we decided we wanted to go in it. So we made our way down to the beach.

Also I was so excited when I finally had a cool snapchat graphic.

We got to have Thanksgiving outside this year since the weather this week has been PERFECT

And I almost finished everything on my plate.

The boys got their drumsticks.

Loved this next picture too much not to post.

And JD with her whipped cream and side of pie.

This break I thought a lot about what I am thankful for.

I am so thankful for my amazing husband. I didn't even know he was this perfect when I married him and he continues to surprise me every day.

I am thankful for my family. They make everyone feel welcome and I Iove coming home to them.

I am thankful for the place I was lucky enough to call home.

I am thankful for all I learned these last 4 and a half years at school.

I am thankful to have found a passion to pursue.

I am thankful for all the adventure I have ahead of me.

I am thankful for being thankful.

THE COVE

The Cove is one of my favorite places on earth.

Our favorite people (The Barnett's) are in town for Thanksgiving.

They are Canadian so they don't even know what Thanksgiving is.

So we met my friend Genoa down at the beach to watch the sunset.

HOW HOT ARE THEY?

Scott the trendy photographer.

But really its so cute to see Scott behind the camera.

Aaaaaaand now the mustache.

I can't wait to buy a house with these cool peeps.

And then we found Connor's flower doppelganger.

i love where I am from.  Going back to Utah just get harder and harder.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
