MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND IN SAN DIEGO

I love living just a road trip away from my family! Memorial Day was Scott's FIRST day off of the year so you know we had this little trip planned for quite some time! Our friends Caitlin and Jonny and their cute baby Carson came with us and it went by way too fast.

We had such a fun weekend just hanging out, eating burritos, going to the beach, and playing games with my family. We will be back down there for fourth of July and I am counting down the days already!! Now let me spam you wth lots of pics from the trip!

This might be my favorite series of photos

got to show off that belly!

^^ I look way more pregnant in this pic than I do in real life but a girl can dream!

cutest little guy ever!!! My family loved having him around. My mom texted me today saying how much she missed him haha!

Scott is such a good model for me when I am testing out settings on my camera haha

Cheers to a short week!!

WEEK 24 BUMPDATE

How Far Along? 24 weeks!

Size of a... Cantaloupe! I feel like that is HUGE!

Weight Gain? YES! After not gaining any weight the first half of my pregnancy, I feel like I am just putting on the pounds! I actually hid the scale this week because I really want to focus on the fact my body is growing a human vs how much weight I am gaining. So I think I will be taking this question off future bumpdates ;)

Morning Sickness? Finally getting this under control!!! The doctor prescribed a new medicine for me that is supposed to help with stomach acid and that has been the key!! I just take a pill every morning and wait an hour to eat (which is hard when you are pregnant haha) and it has seem to be working. So fingers crossed I am done throwing up. Heartburn is another story...

Maternity Clothes: My sweet friend Nikki lent me a pair of maternity jeans and they have literally CHANGED MY LIFE! So then I decided to stock up on a few more essentials (well Scott may not see them as essentials but YOLO). And they make life so much more comfortable.

Sleep: Sleep is going great! Minus the fact I wake up every hour to pee. I also am debating on investing in a pregnancy pillow because I wake up quite stiff. Not sure if my makeshift pillow fort is cutting it.

Best Moment of the Week? Scott and I bought a picnic basket and had a little picnic! And I don't think we will use it again until summer is over because summer has arrived and it is sooooo hot here!!

Weird Pregnancy Moment? I never know how to answer this question. I guess the fact that I feel her a lot more? It is like a constant reminder that there is something living inside of me haha

Movement? All the time!!!! She is constantly kicking and flipping and booty bumping and hiccuping... Plus Scott gets to feel it too! It is so fun to share those moments with him!!

Food Cravings? Not really.  Still loving sweets a little more than usual

Anything making you queasy? Hamburgers (#ripinnout) and hotdogs. But most other meat I am good with!

Gender? GIRL!! Looks like mothers intuition was right!

What I am looking forward to? Not really baby related but we are going down to San Diego this weekend and I am so excited to spend some time with family!

RANDOM PICS OF LIFE AND THE BUMP

Cannot believe it is almost June!! Even though I feel like I have been preggers forever, it also feels like life is flying by!! And before I know it there will be 3 of us!!! Some days I cannot wait for September and some days I feel like I would be ok if she stayed in there for another couple of years.

Here are a bunch of pictures of life lately. If you aren't a fan of selfie mirror bump pics- I apologize in advance.

^^ this was at 20 weeks where she finally started poking out!!

Before we knew she was a... she :)

I may not be able to stomach in-n-out these days but I can still appreciate the beauty of this picture!

He is a natural already!

Just excited to have our baby to finally fit in with all our friends. Jk we want her for more reasons than that!

^^ terrible picture but Scott was SO excited to be able to park in the expectant mothers spot

It has been so fun having friends come into town to visit. Our friend Trevor has come a few times and then our friends Joel and Nikki came to hang out for the weekend and it was so much fun!

Ready for parenthood.

We went to this restaurant that Scott and I went to three years ago when we were living in Phoenix for his internship. It had THE best donut holes with this amazing dipping sauce. I was so scared to go back because I didn't think it could live up to my memory but I am happy to report it did not disappoint.

The bump is getting bigger and bigger every day!

Sweetest thing ever- Scott went all out for Mother's Day. He had donuts, flowers, a cute balloon and my favorite candy waiting for me when I woke up. He made me dinner, gave me endless foot massages, and let me pick the movie. We made a little video of the day that you can see here

I love him!!!

Really want to soak up these moments when it is just the two of us. Can't believe we will have a little girl here so soon!!
