FRIENDSGIVING

When I started dating Scott, not only did I gain a super hot boyfriend, but also an amazing group of friends .

Seriously. From day one these  boys had my back. They quickly became my best friends.

I want to cry thinking about the fact we only have 5 months left living down the street from each other.

So we obviously had to go all out with our first friendsgiving.

With Christmas decor since the dollar store sells nothing Thanksgiving related.

Mistletoe was also strategically placed around the apartment.

And of course, jerseys were the dress code.

Please disregard Scott's hat. I have no idea where this weird obsession with fedoras came from, but somehow my fedora from middle school has made it to our apartment in provo.

I gave him a coupon for our anniversary that gives him permission to wear it out of the house one night. He chose Friendsgiving.

Chicken pillows were served instead of turkey. #sorrynotsorry

Trevor aka craft master showing off his masterpiece.

I doodled a bit.

I love these boys.

We ended the night with like 10 rounds of mafia. We learned that Scott and I can't play together because we always know when the other person is lying.

Can't wait for REAL Thanksgiving in the most beautiful place in the world!

SNOW AND COOKIES

Please listen to this as you read.

Ok yes I know that Thanksgiving hasn't even arrived and it may be wayyyy early to start listening to Christmas music but it snowed today. SO I DON'T CARE.

It felt only fitting to listen to Christmas to music, make cookies, and watch the snow fall.

In High School all my friends loved coming over because my sister would make everyone cookies.

She is so talented and has a killer recipe for every kind you can imagine.

I tried our her oatmeal cookie recipe and I got sick because I ate so many...whoops.

I am not a HUGE winter person but I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited for more snowy days.

And for Christmas.

I love the Holiday season. The music, the lights, the time spent with family... it is all so magical. Today it just felt more real. I guess there is something so exciting about the first snow fall.

I think I will just sit bundled up in blankets looking at the snow for the rest of the evening. What about you?

SUNDAY WALKS

Remember last weekend when it was freezing and storming?

Well if not let me remind you-

And then this weekend it somehow turns into blue skies and 60 degree weather.

Utah is so weird.

We decided to enjoy the sun and go for a nice Sunday walk.

And take a new Linkedin picture for Scott. He is so professional.

After a mini Scott photo shoot we held a family meeting and voted on our favorite.

The background is a truck... So creative.

And an update.

Fun Fact: My coworker started calling Scott and I "Casscott" while we were dating and it stuck. We even have a hashtag #casscottwedding

Also- 30 for 30 might be one of the greatest discoveries for our marriage. Scott loves sports. I love documentaries. Its a perfect combination.

This week we may have listened to some Christmas music and watched a Christmas episode of the office. You could say we are a little excited.

Now maybe I should get off the couch and go help Scott with the dishes.
