WE ARE MOVING

TO PHOENIX THIS SUMMER!!!!

Even though we are going to miss Richmond so much (seriously I cry every time I think about leaving) we are SO excited to move somewhere with endless sun, Mexican food, quite a few friends already in the area, a five hour drive from my family, and IN-N-OUT!!!! We lived in Phoenix two summers ago and we are pretty stoked about going back (especially since the other option was New Jersey and while it would be cool to have NYC as your backyard, I am happy to settle for a year round tan and being able to afford to live in something bigger than a shoebox).

We will be spending our last 2 1/2 months in Richmond doing all the touristy things we thought we would have another year to do, spending as much time as we can with the Hiatts (sad to move so far away from then again), and filming other people so that when we move and I have no business contacts, I can convince people to hire me :)

HARRY POTTER WORLD + A VLOG

Last weekend we flew out to LA to spend some time with my family!! While we were there we took my (well I guess our) nieces to the new Harry Potter World. Scott was easily the most excited... I don't even think he slept the night before haha. He was all ready to go by 7:30 while the girls were still sound asleep! He also made them all get sorted that morning and even splurged on buying them their own wands.

For Christmas last year we made my mom a vlog (because she is obsessed with us and we had no money to actually buy her something) and decided to do the same thing for her birthday in March because we loved it so much! But we couldn't find a good weekend to do because Scott is in full GMAT study mode and that would be really boring. So instead we are doing a bunch of little ones for her over the next few months and decided why not put them on youtube so we can show our kids one day how cool we once were.

MEXICO

If you follow me on any form of social media, you are probably well aware that I got to spend 10 days down in Mexico with the super awesome Color By Amber jewelry company. My good friend Ariel was hired to film their yearly incentive trip, and I got to come along to help shoot. We spent 5 days visiting a few different villages in Chiapas, and then 5 days at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. It was a life changing trip to say the least. The pictures above are just a few that I was able to snap in between shots, or steal from our amazing photographer Gentri before parting ways, but when I get more pictures I will definitely post those!

Also in case you couldn't tell our blog got a little makeover! I have been wanting to clean it up for awhile but after failing many times at figuring out html, I found Mango Blog Shop . Super affordable and super easy. I also gave in to finally just calling this blog "casscott" after going back and forth of thinking that was dumb/cheesy/stupid but also secretly loving it at the same time. Ok I am rambling now. Bye!

D.C. FOR THE WEEKEND

^^ I love getting my phone back after asking Scott to take a picture. I always end up with gems like this one-

Can't help but giggle when I get photos on my camera like this.

Still working on Scott's skills behind the camera :)

Oh hey hi me here. No we are not dead. Just been a few months of really busy and boring lives. Scott works SO much and when he is not working he is studying for the GMAT. But it's chill because I have found ways to stay busy too! I started an internship with the Virginia Film Office which I am LOVING. And when I am not there, I have been busy working on Cassie H Creates projects or listening to the Hamilton soundtrack.

Anyways my sister-in-law Kris and niece Ryan were in D.C. for the week so on Saturday we drove up to spend the day with them! Ryan and Scott are two peas in a pod. Her favorite thing to do is climb all over him. In case you couldn't grasp that from the little iphone pic collage. We had a fun little sleepover with them that night which included lots of pillow fights between Scott and Ryan, watching Disney Channel shows (is it just me or has the quality of those shows gone way down?) and Scott staying up till who knows when to catch up on the UNC/Syracuse game. Go Heels!
