PROVO FOOD TRUCK ROUND UP

Scott and I have designated Thursday nights to date nights... since we are trying to be social and hang out with people on the weekend this year.

And our date nights have indefinitely been scheduled to be held at the provo food truck round up.

After seeing all my friends instagram and facebook posts about it, we finally understand what all the hype is about.

It's amazing!

SO MUCH FOOD.

And we wanted to try everything.

Which is how we came to the conclusion that this needed to be a weekly thing until we could.

Scott found his favorite truck and waisted no time grabbing a corn dog.

He was a happy boy.

A happy, but still hungry, boy. So we decided on burritos for dinner.

I got the regular sweeto burrito which was absolutely delicious slash a little too spicy for me.

And of course Scott got the cheeseburger version of a burrito.

Which was equally as delicious

Just sitting on the floor, chomping on both.

AND WE OBVI HAD TO STOP AT OUR FAV TRUCK EVER.

We have been twice since we got back. I missed it so much and seeing all their instas this summer was TORTURE.

We got coconut cream, one of the few we had yet to try, and it was amazing.

Like everything they make because they are amazing.

See ya next week!

BLUE SKIES

The other day I got off work early and as I was walking home, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful everything looked.

I know it sounds unbelievably cheesy, but the sky was so blue. And the trees were so green. I knew there was no way I could sit inside our apartment so I took some papers I had to grade, and headed to the park behind our house.

And while I did make it through a few papers, I mostly just snapped some pictures, listened to music, and napped in the sunshine.

Let's hope this nice weather stays just a little bit longer.

UTAH STATE FAIR

Kyle is one of Scott's BFFFFFs and he recently got married to a gorgeous girl named Lily.

So now I have a buddy while the two boys have their little bromance.

Yesterday, we headed to the state fair with them, and Lily's sister and her boyfriend.

And the first thing we did was search for dinner. Obvi.

Which ended up consisting of deep fried Oreos and ice cream. Gosh we are so healthy.

Lily was a little bit of a messy eater...

jk blame Kyle

Also shout out to my wonderful husband who sported a floral backpack all night so I didn't have to carry it.

We visited the animals for quite a bit.

And then washed our hands a few times.

Especially Kyle who slapped a cow's butt and let a goat suck on his fingers.

But hey who is judging.

Then we decided we had to ride at least ONE ride. So ferris wheel it was.

photoshoot in line because what else are we supposed to do.

After this picture was taken, this lady told us it was her goal in life to photobomb a picture.

I am so happy we could help her achieve her life's dream.

She then offered to take a picture of the four of us, but it turned out pretty blurry.

Aren't they the cutest?

I am pretty sure this is when we were discussing how one of the screws looked loose and we might fall to our death but Kyle looks far too happy for that to be true.

Classic fair pics.

Might be one of the most attractive pictures of the two of us I have ever seen.

So long Utah State Fair. Who knows if we will ever grace you with our presence again.
