MANAROLA

^^ We ate at this restaurant and it was one of the best most adventurist meals we had on our trip. More on that later though.

It was actually sometimes a challenge to get Scott smiling in pictures. 

Manarola was next up and it did not disappoint. We got there in the evening, had the most amazing seafood dinner, wandered the streets and watched the sunset. I know it is so cheesy but I looooove sunset and this will always be one of my favorites. Also isn't the look out over the town something out of a postcard?

Interrupting all the Italy posts to make note of the fact that Scott and I have been married for two whole years today. Looking back on our relationship, it all seems like a blur. I feel like Scott has been a part of my life for much longer than he actually has, and at the same time it feels like I am just getting to really know him. I feel like there are so many different things I could write right now, but I will just say how lucky I am to wake up to this wonderful man every morning. I fall more and more in love with him each day, and sometimes I just can't fathom how this all happened. How I found the person I am meant to be with so young. How life is challenging but being with him makes that significantly less scary. How Scott turned out to be even more perfect for me than I thought he was on this day two years ago. I love you Scott William Hiatt. I think forever with you sounds pretty great.

RIGGAMORE

Scott wore a money belt under his shirt during our trip and seeing it in some of our pictures makes me laugh. It just looks like he gained a few really awkward shaped pounds. 

As ridiculous as that tube looks, the camelback saved our lives this trip. I know I have said it before, but I had never experienced sweating out every ounce of water I drank. It was the perfect way to stay hydrated.

After Rome, our next stop was Cinque Terre, which was my favorite stop of the trip. It was a nice contrast from the busy schedule we kept in Rome. We spent two days exploring four of the five towns. You probably could have done them all in one day, but it was nice to relax and take our time. First up was Riggamore. Which I still cannot pronounce right. We just wondered the town and took in the amazing views of the ocean. The colorful houses, the sparkling blue water... I was in love.
