starting off 2013 with getting engaged // enjoying all the perks of being engaged like getting pretty pictures taken and trying lots of cake // practicing our wedding dance... jk I have no idea why we were doing this but my mom snapped a pic one day while Scott was visiting // going through the temple // GETTING MARRIED // honeymoon of my dreams want another one now please // enjoying all the newlywed bliss // visiting the Hiatt farm in North Carolina // our first christmas together and yes this is the only picture I have.
Ok it is the end of 2014 so I feel like it is cheating to talk about the end of 2013 and my hopes for the new year since I have already lived it haha. But 2013 was definitely the year my life changed the most. I went from girlfriend to fiancé to wife which was amazing but also really emotional for me haha. I felt like I was really growing up! All of the change that was coming really hit me when I flew out to visit Scott during Christmas of 2012. When my parents dropped me off at the airport I remember I could not stop crying and I couldn't figure out why. I knew I wanted to marry Scott and I knew it would be happening in the next year, but I was also so sad to close the chapter of being the baby of the family and still having my parents take care of me. As my dad was hugging me goodbye he said "it's ok things are changing. But one thing that won't change is you will always be my little girl." 2013 was full of changes but it's nice to know that some things stay the same.
