TIVOLI

We were in Rome for three days, so we knew we wanted to do some sort of day trip. After lots of research and planning parties, we decided to do two half day trips, which started with Tivoli. The land of one thousand fountains.  Everyone said the main thing to do in Tivoli was visit the Villa d'Este. And we are so glad we listened, because it turned out to be one of our favorite places we visited. In other news, we are finally settled in to our new apartment! Yes we don't have any furniture yet and have been eating our meals on the floor, but it is sooooo nice to not be living out of a suitcase. Now just to get everything organized... Baby steps.
